Everyone has a life philosophy. Well, here is mine. I believe that any health issues that appeared in the body for a reason or a sign that your body is asking for help. Pay attention to your body's warnings before they got worse. Prevention is always better than cure. Take care of your body by following five roots to wellness: Real Food, Pure Water, Fitness, Detox, and Harmony.

1. Eat Real Food

Whole food (organic, local, non-GMO) is a critical part of our health and wellness. Foods can easily make you healthy — or sick. I want to educate and empower you to recognize which foods are natural and which aren’t. That's why I established Blue Organic Kitchen for everyone, whether you’re a meat-eater, vegan, vegetarian or another type of eater.
A Personal Note: I am not on a restricted diet. I prepare my food and cook from scratch as much as I can. Once in a while, I enjoy eating out. I believe in the balance, as long as we stay healthy. If I feel sick or unhealthy, I switch to a therapeutic diet along with detoxify program to regain wellness.

In additional, be sure to buy organic corn and soybean; 90% of conventional corn and soybean are grown through genetically engineering organisms.

2. Pure Water

Water is essential to life...without it, there is no life! Water is the key to all body's functions. Water helps carry oxygen in the blood and transfer toxins out of the body.

Drink water, water and water! Hold on, not all water is safe! Choose filtered clean water, do not drink tap water, or even plastic bottled water! Choose quality filtered system for drinking water. Contact me if you have any questions.

3. Fitness

Exercise to be fit, not skinny. Fitness is not about being better than someone else...it's about being better than you used to be. Fitness is a required part of a holistic lifestyle. We cannot ignore exercise and expect to be healthy. Most of our physical activities such as walking, standing, reaching for something from the kitchen cabinet, or even laughing require a muscle to function!

Some people like to run daily or to rotate through different exercise types; others like to do the trendiest workout. It doesn't matter if you exercise at home or go to the gym, as long as you are doing something to build the strength of your heart and muscles. Here are tips to keep in mind:

  • Respect your body. Listen to your body and decide if you need to rest, or push for more.
  • Do what you body is able to do, Do not overdo it: your body is not designed to be a superhero body.
  • Don't compare yourself to other people whether they're skinny or bulked up. They may or may not be healthy. Rather, focus on yourself only.
  • Eat a lot of whole green foods to support your body when working out.
  • Choose safety over pride.
  • Drink adequate pure water before and after your workouts; no energy drinks, Gatorade, or other artificial drinks should be consumed.. Coconut water is highly recommended.
  • Stretch, stretch, and stretch more. Especially, after workouts.

4. Detox

I strongly believe that everyone should detoxify their body no matter what if they eat 100% healthy foods or people who ate everything. The toxins got in our body through air (pollution), water (plastic bottles), chemicals in the food we eat, and our skin absorb so much harmful chemicals. I would recommend you to read the article I wrote, "Seven Reasons You Should Detox Every Year".

5. Harmony

Did you know that your body follows what your mind says? Whatever we think, the cells in our bodies will either become happy or unhappy. If we constantly become angry or jealous over little things, our wellness will not improve. Harmony is one of the many roots of our well-being. We are united as one. Our minds and bodies are not separate; they are connected as a whole. It's very important for our emotional and mental health to be in balance. This also applies to food. If a person eats the healthiest foods and is fit, but always feels bitter and never forgives, that person will never achieve abundant healing. Mental health is as critical as eating healthy foods, maybe even more.
We must look inside ourselves and observe how healthy our minds, emotions and feelings are toward certain events, people or things. We cannot become happier through people, nature, or even chocolate. This happiness is within ourselves. Learn more.
